That does look good. It makes me want to put wood on mine.
Here is my Remington 870 I posted previously and got alot of comments on. Well, I have upgraded it once again. I personally custom Cerakoted all of the components and even coated my HK USP .40C to match...well all of my firearms are FDE & Black...lol.
P.S,
It's 11 lbs. fully loaded.

....and as always rocking the 9 pellet 00 Buck Shot !!!
Here is an 870 Express 28" I have had since I was 14. This shotgun is almost 20 years old and has bounced around the "duck-boat" every year for 18+ years. I stripped it down (what was left of the original factory finish) and recoated the barrel and receiver in Cerakote's "Burnt Bronze" / bolt in "Graphite Black". After refinishing I replaced the beat-up, old wood furniture with the Magpul SGA & MOE furniture in black and tossed on a "Tru-Glow" fiber optic front bead sight. No more rust and a lot lighter.

Thanks!
I had a Speedfeed youth stock on this SG for a long time, which I very much liked. However, the matt black stock/polished blue metal combo always irked me and several times I was going to have the metal bead blasted and reblued. Though the Speedfeed stock is easier to grip and hold on to, I'm glad I had the original stock shortened (same LOP as the Speedfeed) and went that route instead.
This 11-87 cycles the Federal LE/PD132 "reduced recoil" load (00 buck, 9 pellets at 1145 fps) perfectly and shoots the full power Federal P127RS one ounce slugs to POA at 50 yards into 3 inch groups. These are my go-to loads for this gun. This is a pressure compensated barrel, so 3-inch loads can be used too (though I have no practical use for them in this gun).
Interestingly, with a barrel seal activator installed, it will also cycle the lighter LE133 loads (8 pellets at 1145 fps). Even though they have been 100% reliable, they do not cycle the action as briskly therefore I would not use them for a HD application. Since the LE/PD132 loads work perfectly and are very comfortable to shoot, there's really no need for the 8-pellet load anyway so I run the SG without the activator.
Thanks for taking a look and commenting!
