Thanks. I updated a few things. Added my preferred light setup, swapped out the RMR for a 508T and swapped out OEM bolt handle for a Briley. Just sign up for the email notifications on Aridus website. Thats how I acquired my parts anyway. They usually give a heads-up on facebook when they are getting close to having parts available. You can find some of the Aridus parts on Gun Broker and ebay but at an inflated price.

Out of Stock on both, except they do have the FDE handguard in stock. I clicked on the black handguard and it showed '30 in stock', but when i tried to add it to cart, it said out of stock.

Sick and tired of them bumping the cab of your combine, scratching the paint on your BFN (Brand, Fantastic, New) John Deer that cost three times what your house did....? And, you keep thinking that there must be a way, some way, that you can get help from John Moses Browning...?

Final version of the front sight on Spoonful, deer antler.

Spoonful was a real orphan. A Savage 720, bought without a barrel.... I happened to have a Rem 11 barrel, which was more or less a drop-on, but my, it was long. From the cutoff portion of it, I made the fancy front sight base which got silvered back onto the cut-off barrel. This three-digit beauty made in 1930 has been around the block enough times that the receiver is cracked, the screw slots are buggered up, and I won't change a thing! There is another century of utility left in this old bird as-is.
