Thread: Anyone here tried a Hahn Precision rear BUIS?

    Hahn has always put out great products, I was hesitant because I was not a fan of the nylon set screw, I would like to see a 2nd setscrew to back over it atleast. Other than that it looks fantastic, I have never needed both apertures on pure BUIS.

    I am also interested in hearing more reviews.

    I'm still very happy with my Hahns; I have them on four carbines now. Eternal, it's a nylon tipped steel setscrew - the nylon is just to minimize marring.

    I will buy more Hahns when I need additional BUIS, I really don't feel the need to try any others. Dustin does offer a slightly smaller aperture as an option now, I like it a little better than the original.

    I must have has a brain fart when I wrote nylon setscrew. I still would feel better if it had a 2nd screw ontop.

    could you measure the closed/collapsed height? I would most want mine on my rifles with magnified optics and am interested to hear whether or not they would fit.

    I'm measuring 18mm to the highest point off the top of the rail.
