Buy with confidence. ADM makes a very good mount.

I own quite a few ADM mounts.....with one in the mail as we speak, all are perfect as far as finish, fit and function(returning to zero).
You should prob. tell us what you will be mounting inside it and what type of rear buis you are running.....that way you can end up with the right scope relief(3 diff. lengths)
Basically I'm looking to put a accupoint tr24 in it. I have the magpul BUS. I am looking to go inexpensive as I can and still have quick release. My upper is a YHM upper with a standard pacatinny rail. let me know if there is any other information that might help!
Imho, you really need the recon or scout x mount when running the tr-21/24 accupoints.....i have a tr21 in a recon x mount and it is a perfect match. Since accupoints have BAC, you do not have to worry about getting it as far back as a normal scope but unless you are running a mono rail the non ext. versions will not allow you to clear a buis and fit on the upper receiver.
Keep in mind the mount you have linked is essential like using rings....since it is not extended at all. The big benefit besides QD and return to zero is the ability to stay on the org. upper receiver by using an angled mount.
Here is an ole pic of the setup similar to what you are thinking about....using the recon x and tr21.

I completely understand. Thank you for the information!
One more question I had. Does anyone have any experience with the single quick release scout or is it not as stable as the 2? for example

i was told that adm mounts were a little on the light side for mounting heavy optics on larger calibers. it didn't sound right to me. can any one comment on this? for reference.......i wanted an adm mount to mount a heavy 34mm premier heritage on an m14. to you think the adm mount could handle this task?
