    You were fed a line.
The ADM mounts are some of the best on the market.
They grab more rail surface than LaRue mounts.
ADM makes a sturdy mount with a great quick release lever.

I use several ADM mounts including a Recon with 30mm rings and I'm completely happy with them. My choice over most others, although I wouldn't mind trying a Bobro someday.

FYI, the store you posted a link to while often the lowest price tends to do a lot of backorders. If you want something reliably shipped quickly I would check G&R Tactical, BCM, and DSG Arms to see if they have the same item in stock (with BCM getting the prize for fastest shipping in nearly all cases).

i had a feeling i was being fed a line. it alsost made sense to me seen how the adm mounts seem have metal taken out on the sides ( weight savings?) compared to my other options they did look a little "light" . i also dont like how the vertical rings are not one with the base. they are screwed together......more stuff to come loose and fail. but i cant ignore that every one that i have asked about adm mounts seems to be in love with them. that says something.......now matter how "light" they might appear.

The vertically split ring design is very similar to what Larue uses, and Larue is one of the other most highly regarded mounts.

The chunkiest scope mounts I own are the RRA and Burris PEPR. All the extra material for those simply reflects less machining work for lower cost. I doubt they are any stronger than the ADM.

The ADM mounts are the bomb. The only issues I've had is the lever tension seems to break in and you have to tighten them after the first month or so.

But.... Friends don't let friends buy anything from Botech tactical. They suck. Buy from Brownell's or MidwayUSA. MidwayUSA stocks them and ships fast with coupon codes available. Brownell's drop ships them from the factory. Brownell's has the forever return policy.

I have a Recon-H. ADM makes excellent mounts. On the other hand I have heard enough negative things about Botach over the years that I would find another vendor.

I just ordered a AD-recon-X (my second AD mount). BCM just shipped it out with my new BCM upper.
