Front Sights

I go back and forth on this with my BUIS choice on my Aimpoint equiped guns. I like the always there of my Larue BUIS, but at the same time I find it distracting and it ends up slowing down my focus on the dot.

I know what your saying. I have gone back and forth on this as well. I also believe what Vickers teaches is 100% correct.

I am as well and can't wait to get the new VLTOR flip up front (plan on having them pinned on Noveske barrels).

I'm curious to see one of those when they are released - I'll pick one up from you when you get them in.

The barrel in my pic is a 12.5 Noveske that I got up from you about two months ago - I hope they are as good as everone says they are.

Regardless of magnification, if the reticle is always available (etched, wire crosshairs) I like fold down sights. If the reticle is generated by electronics (Aimpoint/Eotech) I like fixed sights.
