M4 stock adapter for Benelli M3

Frustrated by the lack of commercially available options, a buddy of mine whipped this up in his garage machine shop. He posted these pics to a local gun board with the following comments, and I thought some of you might like to see them:

This is the second version I've built, the first one was just to get a feel for the overall fit to the shotgun and make sure everything I was designing was going to fit properly so it was not very refine. The second version as you can see it very nicely shaped and smooth. I modified a MIAD grip to fit the adapter and also machined the adapter to accept 2 ACS QD sockets. This version turned out really nice. I used a VLTOR buffer tube and of course a CTR stock, and from the pictures you can see how much overall length it takes off of the original stock. The custom latch plate the keeps the buffer tube from rotating was laser cut by Jon at NYFBFAB and is on the boards. He did good work, the price was good and the turn around was fast.

I'm thinking of making one more version with a possible 5 degree tilt down of the buffer tube.

He and I and another friend test-fired this setup last weekend:

I often wondered if you could make the M1 recoil assy work inside of something like that?

Fantastic! That would solve a few problems and create opportunities with me and my M3.

    Production soon?

I like the current version with the more straight-inline stock.

    Count me in.

If you solve the M1 Super 90 issue, I think you'll be able to vacation comfortably on what you'll make with that one.

I'd get an S90 if this becomes available, even as a limited run item.

If you ever made something like this for an M4 I would buy it. There needs to be more US parts made for semi auto Benelli's.

Nice work! I also have an M3 and would a like a shorter stock.

Will these be made for sale? If so, how much???
