    PRI 6.8 mag issues.

Has anyone heard of or experienced any issues with PRI 25 rnd 6.8 mags? Of the 5 that I have, 3 of them have a bit a trouble. With as little as 10 rounds in them, quite a bit of resistance is encountered in loading them. They can be loaded to the full 25, but they are difficult to load. In hand cycling rounds through my rifle, with 10, 20, ans 25 rounds loaded, the rounds all nose dive in the mag after feeding about 5 rounds. The follower is definitely pushing the rounds up smoothly and uniformly. Very odd seeing as how they are Magpul followers.
I plan on calling PRI first thing Monday, but just wanted to see if this was a common thing or a fluke in the mean time.

My Barrett mags on the other hand run as if they were made with polished ball bearings in them.

I've got 2 of the PRI 25 rounders and I've not noticed any issues with loading them. Though I find them easier to load when using a Maglula.

After loading 8-10 rounds is when these start meeting resistance. I put 10 in them and then used a Surefire to look down inside. There was some noticeable tilting of the followers. By pushing the followers down as far as I could with just my finger, there was also a lot of wiggle room for the followers. I am calling PRI today, as I didnt get a chance to yesterday.

Contacted PRI. They want to check the mags out so I am shipping them in to them.

Got 3 replacements from PRI today. They seem to be exhibiting some of the same problems as the ones I sent it, though not quite as bad. I am going to take these to the range and live fire them before passing judgement though.
I might also get some CProducs mags to try out as well.

It may just be as simple as the Barrett mags having more room for the rounds to feed. They are very long in comparison. I don't think you'll have any better luck with the CProducts mags FWIW.

I know that sounds obvious, but after you said the replacement mags did the same, it's what popped in my head. My PRI and CProducts mags are harder to load than a 5.56 mag.
I keep hearing about my gun rights, but I just can't seem to find them.

I've had no luck with Barrett's customer service. I've called and emailed several times, but no answers...where can I get Barrett 6.8 mags? How much do they go for? Thanks to anyone who can help.

Barrett is currently out of mags. As soon as they have some more in, I should know.

$42 each, which is on par with the going rate for PRI mags.

    They are loooong mags...
