    Cantilever mounts, which one?

And why. I'm looking at Larue, ADM and Bobro.

My Aimpont Comp M2 is going into a Larue LT-129. ADM and Bobro are good companies, but I love the option of keeping an additional battery in the housing. Plus they're very competitive in pricing. I think I read it here: "If Larue is an answer, Larue is the answer."

I've got two LaRues, I just plain like them. They are Proven too! The Bobro's look pretty good also. But the ADM's are just fugly IMHO. I just don't like the way their rings look, JMO.

I sort of like the Larue LT129, I like the battery storage, but it seems to be out of stock everywhere I've looked. I've found the ADM and Bobro in stock, of these two I like the Bobro best. It also seems that both ADM and Bobro have better locking systems. Is this a correct assumption? Also, if I decide on the Larue, can I order it direct from Larue Tactical? Any other thoughts or advice is welcome.

BTW, I've been running an ARMS mount for several years now, before there was a Larue or any other quality brands. I want to go from an absolute co-witness to a lower 1/3. I've already installed a LMT fixed BUIS. Now I just need a quality mount.

LT 129 will give you the lower 1/3, and it is a quality mount and the CS for Larue is excellent. Like one other said, if Larue is an answer, Larue is the answer.

Oh, and you can order it directly from them, from their website. If it is not in stock, it may take a few more days until they mill it.

I had the same dilemma several months ago. After reading several posts, I decided on the Bobro cantilever mount. Very happy with it. The best part is that the mount self-adjusts to your rail. No wrenching or manually fiddling with it. Just set it down and lock it in, DONE. No loss of zero, no play in movement and will not mar your receiver, if you're into that sort of thing.

    Hope this helps.
