With Colt, BCM, KA, and DD in the market, why waste time with a company that puts out a less than optimal product. The BS'ing about putting out the specs. hasn't helped.
I have come to a new conclusion/thought/understanding about Spikes Tactical.
What I know:
1. They are pro gun.
2. They are pro black rifle.
3. They support 2nd Amend.
4. They are offering another option for the consumer.
5. They are a small business that is providing jobs.
The above are all really positive things and should be appreciated by all.
For the record, I know a lot about Spikes AR's (actually went out and bought one of their uppers and had it MPI'd and Destructive Tested). I personally am no longer interested in an online pissing match (as it is a waste of time and energy). My time is better spent keeping up with what the left wing nut jobs are trying to do to our Country, getting orders out and training.
Good luck to ST.

Best post in the entire thread.
Well put Grant.
Thanks much.
I am sure that some will have the assumption that I had things tested and I came out the loser. Everyone likes to win and make their enemy look bad. That is the easy route to take. It is much harder to win and keep the info to yourself.
The results will be kept with me (private).

I was seriously considering a Spike's for the value offered at the price point, but after reading about this whole affair, I decided to spend just a little more for a "known good" and ended up ordering a BCM lightweight middy from Grant because I want to KNOW what I am getting. I can therefore say for certain that Spikes lost at least one potential customer. It "looks" like a good gun, but I'm not the kind that takes chances with my money.
I believe the whole issue has pretty much answered itself.
