    MP9.

Winchester Ranger T ejects erratically for me. This is the 124 +P stuff.

I have had one failure, a horizontal stovepipe with this ammo.

    This is in a G19 0-4-2 spring.

The rest of the failures have been with WWB, Federal, Tula, Wolf and American Eagle ammo.

I wouldn't call it a blanket fix, the new springs are just making it to the users IIRC. I guess I'm lucky, although to be honest I can call 9 people off the top of my head with 9mm 4th gens that have had no problems at all(under a few FTE's in more than 1K rounds). 7 of them are also cops who put decent rounds through theirs. The one Gen 4 I have personally seen that has had problems was also a guy who replaced striker spring, connector, RSA, and lightened his trigger. Even that problem was just light primer strikes that was fixed by switching back to stock.

The GFA is just an add on for the Glocks that changes the grip angle and gives it a beavertail. It was an instant improvement for me.

Looks neat, and if it works for you, perfect.

My Gen 4 G19 works perfectly with the latest RSA, I shot a Qualifier on Sunday at Titusville. The first portion is at 10? Yds, I think, 7? not sure, it called for both hands, strong and weak hand shooting, I hit all zero downs, 9 head shots, and thirty down zeros on the body shots.

No malfunctions of any nature. I am a happy camper.

I'm with you, <knock on wood> I've had no problems, even when I first got mine with the non-numbered spring. The rest of the guys on the team swapped their springs out recently for the newest model that Glock is sending out, but mine isn't broke, so I'm leaving it alone for now.

I'm not quite calling my newest one good to go quite yet. I've got quals next month that will hopefully run it through the paces and declare it ready.

    Glad yours is working well.

Huge improvement, TruGlow fiber optic sights (no I do not work for them) You might want to swap the RSA, if you are using practice loads (not hot Ammo all Ranger, no problem.

After 11 years of glock- hiatus, which was filled with hks, walthers, s&ws, kahr, and others, i bit the bullet and got a gen.4 19.
completed ~400 rounds thru it this morning, with zero events to report, aside from feeling right back at home...
with muscle memory still intact, this 19 felt alot more balanced, robust and ergonomiclly right to my left hand, then the now - distant- memory of my early gen.2 19.

only thing i need to address is the large mag. realese- file it off, or cut the bottom corner.( iuse the left trigger finger to activate it)

B]what are the top 5 tweaks i should address first with this new 19?[/B]

    Gen 4 ejector # 30274 for G17

Just received my G17 back from the factory with ejector # 30274. They did remove & return my aftermarket connector & slide stop lever.

In the following pictures the G19 & G26 are Gen 3's with ejector 336, just wanted to show the difference between 336 & 30274.

Will visit the range next week to test out the new ejector.

    Left to right G19|G17|G26

    Front to rear: G26|G17|G19

    Left to right: G26|G17|G19

    Left to right: G26|G17|G19

What is the new ejector for the Gen4 G19's?

    I posted awhile back

First 1k of UMC 115 Gr, Multiple FTE, with higher 147 Gr ammo I did not seem to have any issues

I still put the gen 4 19, in a drawer and haven't used it until I received my replacement spring assembly from Glock. Ran another 1k of 115 Gr UMC through, 0 Issues. I am going to run another 1k before putting in ranger connector and straight 8s and moving it to my daily carry.

    Gen 4 G17.

May 2011 Test fire date serial number prefix RVE.

    336 ejector, 0-2-3 spring.

500 rounds fired in a two hour period yesterday.

11 stovepipes, the majority being horizontal.

The very first round nose dived into the feed ramp. I had to hit the back of the slide to chamber the round. Ominous beginning...

Ammo used, Winchester White Box 115 grain. I have a call in to Glock to get the 0-2-4 spring but i have a feeling im going to need the new ejector as well.

My Extractor itself actually functioned (during detail stripping of the slide) like a normal Glock extractor, it removed without having to pry it out. The finish on it is different than my November 2010 G19 extractor.

This particular piece is gloss black.

After the initial test firing i put another 120 rounds through it with no issues.

How long did it took to get your pistol back? I was told to send only the lower for the ejector replacement.
