I have heard this too. Being an LEO, I constantly hear from the HSLD boyz that a muzzle brake is stupid in the stack. My response is always, "I'm not an operator. I'm a slick sleeve Deputy. I don't have a 'stack' to depend on. I handle my shit alone or in pairs." This usually shuts them up.

I too, am an advocate of using a brake like the BC or FSC556 on a battle rifle...or at least MY battle rifle/carbine. It helps me shoot more quickly and more accurately. I'll take what advantage I can get.

I can see what the SWAT guys are talking about....but their situation is quite different from mine (from most, I'd wager).

    Keep Rockin your BC, brother.

Will remove the restrictions on this sort of stuff or make it a lot easier.
Hopefully, I have put money away to buy a BC from the very beginning of them here.

Last retarded thing was to stop exportation of 5.56 rifles with muzzle devices and collapsible stock to Canada, and less than 16" barreled uppers.

So complete rifles arrive here without a threaded muzzle, without a collapsible stock or a pinned one, and a .223 marked barrel. I can't put into words how retarded this is... I'm glad I bought my LMT 14.5" carbine upper before these new exportation restrictions. I'd pay a premium to get a DD 14.5" middie barrel but it's not gonna happen anytime soon...

I'm really wanting to try one of these, but I want to become a more proficient carbine shooter before I start counting on a compensator to help me with bad habits. I'll probably get one after a few more classes.

Purchased my Battlcomp 1.0 Monday, put it on the same day. Finaly got to shoot it today. Folks, hear me... This thing is MAGICAL! Absolutely no muzzle climb on slow and rapid fire. Just a little nudge straight into the shoulder. Shot it at dusk a bit too... Just a little muzzle flash in the lower margin of my sight picture through an EOTech. Now the Mosin we were also shooting... That thing is a flame throwing beast! This is the best aftermarket doodad you can put on your rifle IMHO. Great job Battlecomp!!

I NEED a sticker to proudly display. lol

Just so you know, Steve's AUG was specially threaded in 1/2 x 28, so the standard BC1.0 went right on. Unfortunately, we just cannot do custom threads at this point, unless it is a pre-order of at least 10 units. We are focused on production, and as such, we cannot do custom threading requests the proper service.

Just FIVE more days until SHOT 2011! Booyah!

    Be safe,
    Alan

We are working on the "exterior transfer decals" as we speak! Thanks again for all of the support!

Alan - "exterior transfer decals"... Are those in the style of the decals that you dip in water and they slide of the backing after a short soak?

Does this mean that if I ordered 10 or so BABC with FAL metric threading I could eventually get them? (pre pay of course)

I could be willing to do that
    • formerly known as "eguns-com"
    • M4Carbine required notice/disclaimer: I run eguns.com
•eguns.com has not been actively promoted in a long time though I still do Dillon special
orders, etc. and I have random left over inventory.
•"eguns.com" domain name for sale (not the webstore). Serious enquiries only.
