just got back from the range and shot the battlecomp, very noticeable reduction in muzzle rise. Now I have to buy a couple more

I couldn't find any info about this. Has anyone tried Battlecomp 1.0/2.0 on a 20+ inch barrel? Is it just as effective?

    BC 1.0

One of my buddies shot my DDM4 with BC 1.0 compared to my new DD 16" midlength. He shot them both as quickly as he could get on target. I couldn't get the smile and the look of "damn!!!" off his face when shooting the M4 with BC. He is getting the BC this week to shoot on Sunday. I am ordering the BC for the middy. Woohoo!

I get a little giddy when I read this stuff. CAN'T wait to get back to the range to play with my 2.0. Seriously, why do I have to wait 24 hours for the "goop" (or whatever the heck the shop put on the BC) to set!?!?!?!?!! WHY!!!!

Sounds like they used epoxy. Gonna be a pain to remove the Battlecomp someday. I used anti-seize with mine. Crush washer will be enough to keep a muzzle device from coming loose

    Probably the Rocksett, since it's a 2.0?

Thanks very much for the super fast shipping, overall service, and whatever this magical muzzle device thingy is

Beautifully finished product, very nicely packaged w. the needed washer/shims to accomplish the job.

Tomorrow I'm gonna try to melt it and my mrp cqb and will report back with perhaps a clip and review then.

    Prior to install:

    A2 VS. BAC 2.0....comparative pics:
Side view(note the small flack of aluminum on the BAC, it came off w. my nail..no worries at all)

    Front view:

    Installation:
Preparing barrel to be secured by the bench vice...

Barrel securely held in the bench vice..note the compression on the sides....

Wrenching off the old A2 w. a 3/4 wrench...also used the 3/4 to install the BAC....

Finished project w. correctly timed BAC....

Trident, if you get a chance and it's not too much trouble, how bout getting us a vid of you firing with this new beast on board? With previous vids of your firing, it would be interesting to see any visible difference in muzzle rise. This might not be discernable to onlookers, though, but I for one am interested in your thoughts/impressions after firing.

Sure thing brother....here are a few videos from my initial time using the new BAC 2.0 on the MRP CQB:

Target shot in video...I think all but 3-4 outta the 30 rds. made contact w. the target at 25m.

I think this clip is the best footage of the actual BAC up close firing...

I was very impressed with it, I wasn't a skeptic however I did not expect that dramatic of a result once I tried it. I was telling Marty that the best way I can describe the effect it has is it "deadens" your rifle, in a good way
