I have a 14.5 inch MRP that I am adding a Battle Comp 1.5 (bought it last night) and I'm wondering if I should run an H2? I have the standard weight buffer in it now that came with the LMT lower, which I think is an H?
Thanks!

i bought an fsc556 but may go with a battlecomp for my other rifle, they both seem to be good. i haven't shot a rifle with the bc so i can't comment really but the fsc556 works great and keeps you on target.
I want to play!!!! I picked a 2.0 to go on a new Noveske I just had custom built, got it in this week and haven't shot it yet but I expect great things from everything I have read. here are some pics.

If your rifle runs reliably with the current buffer there shouldn't be a need to change to a heavier buffer. I ran the H buffer for a while and recently changed to an H2 more out of curiosity than necessity. The rifle shoots a bit softer and cycle rate seems to be somewhat slower but there wasn't any noticable difference from a reliability standpoint. Try it and see if you find the H2 more to your liking. My humble opinion..

Thought I'd share some comparison pics I took at the range last night. I will let you all draw your own conclusions. All these comps/brakes help in muzzle rise and recoil, but one of these is different in a significant way? Hmmm.

Case closed, I'd say.
I'm running my BattleComp 1.0 [which I bought from a guy looking to get rid of his for $100, sorry, had to brag]
And....
I'm putting 30 rounds of 5.56, in center mass, from 30 yards out, consistently from an off-hand standing position.
And, I'm 50 years old.
So....you do the math.
