I have 2 DD 14.5 BBLs with a 1.5 battle comp on the end of both. Both function and work perfect,,& more than accurate enough with decent ammo !!! I have a DD Gov Profile BBL & a DD Lite weight bbl. Both BC are "Pinned" & Welded. It is a tad noiser than a A2,,but not a issue really !!

Hey there,,,it's the "Law",,anything under 16 inch is a SBR (I think) so with the 14.5 BBL & the 1.5 BC,,it brings it out to a tad over 16 Inch ! Plus being in NY I couldn't have a SBR anyways & all muzzle devices have to be "Permanently" attached.
Good Ole NY AWB is still alive and well !!

Hmmmm,,it must be a NY thing,,cuz I have buddies that are LEO and one has a 14.5 BBL and he can have "ANY" type of Muzzle device,,,,A2,,Flashiders,Comps,etc,,but it still has to be Over 16 Inch and be Perm. attached,,Pinned & Welded. Myself just being a normal citizen,,I need a MB to bring my BBL out to 16 Inch. If your not in NY (Lucky You) you mite want to double check your local/State Laws,,I'm not sure of others,,but ya want to be "Correct" thats for sure !! Anyways,,,I love me BC,,great devices !!! Wish they would come out with one for the M1a someday,,
Kind of a Direct Connect Style like the Smith Ent MB !!
The solid section (emblem) should be at the bottom,or 6'o'clock position. This solid section helps mitigate dust blast when prone. The radial vents should all be on the upwards facing surface. If mounted upside down the barrel will be pushing upwards. I suggest that if it's mounted upside down that you rotate it to the correct orientation.
