    BCE with suppressor

No expert here, only fired a suppressed weapon a couple of times, but my impression is that comps should be screwed tight against a peel washer or shims, not a crush washer, for use with suppressors, as the extra weight of suppressor can deform the crush washer, leading to a baffle strike.
Since BC ship with crush washer, another reason not to mount a suppressor till BCE "approves" and includes appropriate hardware and information for this application.

I would use a shim kit and Rocksett for any muzzle device intended to suppressor use.

I used a peel washer anyway as the crush did not index correctly on "my" unit and "my" barrel. HOWEVER, these guys business model almost brings my big ass to tears as I can't remember a company that was this forth coming and willing to listen to the customer so intently. Of course you can't please everyone... but damn it, these people at least hear you out!

BTW, I'm also quite pleased with the unit I received. Coming from an aerospace manufacturing background, I've seen worst fly through the sky for over 20 years. I'm even more pleased being that the weapon I put it on is a "means to and ends". I'm sure the people I work with that have to use these more than I these days will appreciate them even more! If the statements sound "gray", they are supposed to...

Remember, the Founding Fathers reason for the 2nd Amendment... to combat tyranny. Sadly, when people discuss the 2nd Amendment, the opponents erroneously think it was meant to stand alone... it HAS a preamble:

"...But when a long train of abuses and usurpations, pursuing invariably the same Object evinces a design to reduce them under absolute Despotism, it is their right, it is their duty, to throw off such Government, and to provide new Guards for their future security..."

I used the shim set from Primary Weapons Systems to index mine correctly. They retail for $3 and are much better looking and easier to use vs. USGI peel washers. I hate crush washers.

    Zeus:
Thank you so much for the kind words. The Captain, Alan and I have had our various experiences with less than desirable customer service and products that promise much and deliver little. Our business model is based on complete avoidance of these traits. It's quite gratifying to be able to provide our customers with a device that they have had a hand in designing. Input from end users is critical to a designer to come up with something that works in the real world. The assistance from all of you is greatly appreciated and hopefully will continue as we explore design improvements and new products.
    Cheers,
    Marty

By the way, if you have a special threading requirement or special request for that custom build please contact us through our website and we will do our best to accomodate you.

Is the suppressor model going to be 17-4? What kind of feedback did you get from Gemtech on heat cycles / erosion when used with the can. Thanks

We are still working out the design details and waiting for additional information from Gem Tech. 17-4 is being considered. Our current material spec indicates that it is robust enough for this application but long term data is still being gathered.
