    Everything is going great.

The class is about 80% full at the moment.

I will post up more info next week.

What guns are you guys bringing to the class?

I am bringing two FAL's, a full size and a para carbine both DSA. Anyone have a good setup for an Aimpoint on the Para. I have the DSA heavy duty scope mount but I have not yet found a good set up to mount the Aimpoint.

    Thanks.

    Guys

After talking to some guys at this last AK class and really scrubbing the numbers you can probably get by with 500 rds of 30 cal ammo and 150 -200 rds of pistol ammo for the battle rifle class

Keep in mind we have not ran one of these before so we are taking a SWAG put I feel confident that 500 will get it done

I mention this as I know battlerifle ammo is expensive and saving the $$ on an extra 100 rds could make a difference

    Be safe

    Sounds great.

I'm barrowing an M1A for the class.

    - I've still got a few open seats available. Just contact me if anybody is interested in attending this class.

    Start Time

Guys, we've been playing around with the first day class start times and, for the summer months, have settled on noon. This will allow a lot of semi-local (2-300 miles) people to drive in on Saturday AM and save a night in the hotel. It also lets us break less and generally train straight through dinner at 8 PM.

In short, the schedule is as follows:

    -Saturday 1200-2000 (12-8PM)
    -Sunday 0900-1600 (9-4PM)

Bring something to hydrate with and a folding lawn chair is also recommended.
