    $20 Safariland 6280

I ran up on a man selling off his duty gear and he had a 6280 for $20. It is really rough on the bottom edge like where it hit the seat belt in the car or something. I had hoped that I could get the shroud and make it a thigh holster.

So my question is if I get http://www.skdtac.com/HSGI_UDHP_Hols..._p/hsg.311.htm

    do I need http://www.chiefsupply.com/Duty_Gear...hetic/60056123

The top is the HSGI wrap around holder and the bottom on is the 6004 shroud.

No - if you have a 6280, you only need the UDHP. You'll pull the belt hanger off, mark holes on the inside of the platform, poke 'em through, and mount the holster body into the platform. You do not need the Safariland shroud.

The holster body screws directly into the material of the UDHP. You won't need the 6004 shroud for anything

Thank you gentlemen. That is what I thought, but I thought it would better to get confirmation before I order.
