Hotel and flight booked... tickets coming in the main soon!

Had to get a flight to Houston tho... 190 miles away. The flight was $249 instead of $610 from NJ. Using the $300 vouchers we had from United our flight is free!

Now I can rent a slightly better car and enjoy the ride!

    Can't wait to visit Texas!

Most excellent shopping! It is not a bad drive, just not real scenic until you get west of Austin. I assume you are flying into IAH, no? The most direct route from IAH is US 290 West. Safe travels!

For those of you coming to town for the race, here is a map with the traffic routes and road closures as published by our local daily:

Good luck with the traffic and enjoy the race. I will be home with SPEED Channel.

What upsets me is that I have to drive past the track to the expo center just to be drive back to the track.

    Oh well.

Can't wait to get to Tx!
