there's nothing, i'm confident, wrong with an LWRC lower. i'd sport one, so long as it didn't cost me a dime more than what i put together. i suspect they're well made.

you'll find a whole heaping pile of guys on this board that will say things like "i've never heard a single complaint about em!" and "they're one of the best manufacturers in the known universe!" and so forth.. however the fact remains that their history is very spotty. there are numerous documented cases of weapons that dont run accompanied by apparently shitty customer service. the same can be said for every piston gun manufacturer.... this vast emergence of piston guns is new, and like anything new, there have been glitches. the reports of bad customer service are probably related to the defensiveness that seems to accompany manufacturers with glitchy guns. maybe they've fixed all of these issues by now.

i personally have next to no experience with LWRC guns, and zero experience with their customer service. i've only put 5 or 6 mags through two different weapons. i was unimpressed by the weight and recoil as compared to similar DI guns, but they both ran those few rounds without issue.

lower receivers have nothing to do with it, though- so, as i said, i wouldn't hesitate to use one.

I've heard good and bad about LWRC. Two buddies each have LWRC M6A2s and LOVE them, but you get guys who have had bad experiences so...it's hard to say.

I'm looking at going with a BCM BFH 11.5" with the Mk18 RIS II.
You would be braindead to change your mind on an 11.5'' BCM + Mk. 18 rail.

Just fondling one made me want to splurge my wallet.

Haha, ok. Well I'm pretty much dead set on that.
