    New "Old School" M forgery

Just completed this. Give it a look.

The barrel/receiver assembly is a 16" M4 BCM, 1/7 chrome lined. Bolt carrier group is Lincoln Machine Tool, semi auto.
A BCM/Veltor GunFighter No. 3 is used. Carry handle/sight assembly is Colt, requiring .040" taller front sight post to accommodate the increased sight plane height of the Colt handle.

Lower is Del-Ton using a stainless steel lower parts kit and a Rock River Arms, six position collapsible stock. Forend is old style carbine length and the whole thing is topped off with an M1 sling.

I was quite impressed with the fit/finish and function of all the parts and how this build went together without all the usual "tweaking" that I've experienced on other builds. (1911, U.S. M1 carbine, FN FAL and DCM M16A2 competition rifle.) Functioning, test firing and sighting in has gone without a hitch.

I'm just so pleased I could giggle!
