Looks great. Thanks for sharing. I am jealous.

One thought for what it is worth.

I myself would move the light below the barrel.
But that is just my thought and $0.02 worth.

    Super looking CQB rifle!

Great looking build. Curious as to why you went with an M4S instead of a H-1/T-1?
There is a fight, that began before any of us were ever born. It will continue, long after we have retired, moved on, and left this world. It is a fight for the soccer mom next door, your mailman, the guy that bags your groceries, and most importantly, it is a fight for your family. We are in a daily battle not for land, not for resources or colonial controls...we are in a fight for our very way of life

    .......

very nicely put together...so you like the light to be right there? to me that would be to much of a distraction, but if it works for you ....Kool!

Looks like the mag catch needs another turn or two.

Landchipper & Velcro, Yup, light works pretty good for me right there, very easy to actuate with my thumb, and isn't too distracting(for me anyway). Also helps keep the thumb off the switchblock.

Doc, honestly this is my first Aimpoint product and the larger tube with smaller dot is what attracted me. I'm working on another build that will probably get a T1. If that blows the M4s away, I'll switch. On a related note, I'm still not sure about the killflash.

Todd, I just had turned that thing out a turn before the pic, trying to get the right side release to work a little better. It's not out far enough for the catch to turn with the button fully depressed, but it's close. It will probably get a turn back in this evening.
ETA: Turned it back in, two rounds.

Thanks for the comments & compliments, keep em coming.

    nice

Looks very nice, I have a similar list I am working on for my next build, a few differences but mostly the same. and to see a picture of a finished build similar just makes me more anxious. LOL

You know what's a distraction? When your white light casts a shadow directly over what you're trying to aim at. Keep it at 12 o'clock, it is a better location for a light despite the looks. Anyone else telling you different hasn't actually put much time using a light in that position.
