Not to digress, but that new MBUS in Stick's picture does look like a much slimmer profile. Im looking forward to their product releases.

I was just thinking about this the other day. I am patiently waiting one since I can't decide on a rail system.

Not to hijack, anyone have any thoughts on the RRA Half Quad versus the YHM Smooth?

Magpul Dynamics (Travis & Chris) doing some BSA drills.

T&E on a prototype BCM gun and prototype Magpul MOE handguards, illumination kit

    That gun can run fast!

That is exactly what I am waiting for on my first BCM Middy - the MOE handguard and Illum kit with an X300.

The second BCM middy I have is one of the new lightweights, and sports a Troy 11" Extreme rail.

IIRC the SHOT show photos at the Magpul booth showed a potential date of August for the release of mid and rifle length. Look for the photo of the printed note held in the hand.

In all other considerations, Magpul doesn't say until after they do. Can't blame them, it stops a lot of grief and provides a stock answer.

    Pun intended.

The picture with dates was never released by Magpul, and its not a timeline people should bank on. I'm sure a lot of you guys remember how badly people were crying when Magpul wasn't able to meet good faith timelines, which is why we don't get the same info anymore.
