ravens are great... if this thing is 80% as good as a raven for ~half the price though.. well. that's tempting isn't it? it looks like a quality product from the pics, and let's face it, making a kydex holster isn't rocket science. not saying it's easy, but just because it hasn't been blessed by raven concealment doesn't make it crap.

yea, not sure how anyone can criticize this guy for the holsters he makes.... there's not really too many different ways to mold kydex. any two are bound to be similar.

i wasn't sure he was criticizing anything, though..

Kydex holsters will be similar, it is a riveted two-piece design. My holsters are ripoffs of Raven the same Hundai is a ripoff of Honda because they both have four wheels and seats. Both will do what you want, one is more affordable.

And I am in no way knocking Raven, they make a fantastic product. I just think offering a quality product at a lesser price and without a 3 month wait is fantastic too.

Steve, some of my favorite flashlights are Romisen lights. They are similar in design to Surefires and other expensive lights, are produced with high quality, and can be had for much less than the expensive brands. I am not saying that you have to go buy one but it is an option. Quality gear should not be out of reach of the average consumer.

Also, show me a car that looked like a Model T before the Model T came out. You have the choice to buy whatever you want, if you would rather have a Raven go for it! If you want a different design you can find someone who can make it or purchase some kydex and try it yourself. It is much easier to criticize than to do.

Yep, good designs and being featured my Magpul Dynamics helps. But I guess we will have to agree to disagree then.

    Take care Steve!

what's the other option? fold over and a rivet or screw like comptac?

i'd rather see more raven style holsters.
how many different AR15's are there out there? is that a rip off?
how many striker fired browning short recoil pistols are on the market? glock ripoffs right?
when something is good it becomes the standard, or at least A standard.
raven is back ordered damn near 3 months. having more guys making similar holsters is a good thing.
