A friend of mine's son enlisted this way and became an 18C.

As for Ranger, IIRC RASP (replaced RIP) is an option for 11B enlistees, then they get a shot at being in the 75th after basic/AIT/jump.

MOS + Option 40 gets you a shot at the Rangers.

I hadn't heard that 18X was cancelled, when did that happen?

Travis Lively. He's actually a friend of mine. Super solid guy and was a good SEAL. Not making excuses for him, though. Hell, he'll make fun of himself about it.

That's him. Lively. Maybe he was just hamming it up for the cameras. Seemed like the instructors were doing some of this as well. Legg was a solid dude on that show. I remember him.

Justin Legg is a warrior of the first order. He's survived cancer, a lung transplant and is still fighting back every day. He epitomizes NEVER QUIT.

Wow. holy crap! Yeah... Just watching the show... Legg stood out as a guy you'd want on your side.

I couldn't remember if in fact it did or not hence my "IIRC" in my previous post. Did a quik look up over at QP and found this, so no the program has not closed.
