Bill Withers released his hit "Lovely Day" a few days before Christmas 1977. I was a Senior in High School and remember it playing in the school cafeteria after the Christmas break and into the Summer of 1978 where I was an ROTC Cadet at Fort Knox, Kentucky. This song along with Gerry Rafferty's "Baker Street" were heard on the radio in the mess hall at Knox. Withers died of COVID in March of this year, and this tribute was done a month later. It's a decent tribute:
