I remember the Gibson Guitar Company. They were American. Legend. They made the SG. It was cool. It was America. It didn't care if you were Black, White, Latino, Asian, or just dropped in from Mars.

Yep, you have a set up to envy. I don't think a lot of people can appreciate that. Not like anyone can say well '62 Strats are on sale Black Friday. You get one shot at that stuff.

I have always wanted a Firebird. I picked one up in Sam Ash or Banjo Center one day and I was sitting down. I felt like I needed two more feet of arm to play an E chord. That's def. a stand up guitar.

I've seen this man tear one up all night long on more than one occasion. When Johnny got through pretty much everyone was done. Wild guy.

Thanks TB, very much appreciated. The firebird arrived this year on a deal. I love this guitar. I get that it is a giant, but when you sling it, it rides similar to an SG. It does have a hefty wide c neck, ok for me. The stock pups are ceramic, i would have preferred alnico v but these are perfect for this guitar. Steinberger tuners are unique. It gets quite a bit of play. It sounds fantastic through those old Marshalls.
