If you watch the original video, toward the end you see some members of the band jump off stage and start moving quickly away. Apparently they weren’t aware of the extent of the explosions that were taking place. The video was shot on a Dutch military base, and supposedly live ammunition may have been used.

I love Nena. She was punkish, had hairy underarms and had this punkish vibe.

The only American analog at the time was Terri Nunn of Berlin.

ETA what am I thinking... This was a little while after her big heyday but it demonstrates her vocal talent. She’s way more than the Top Gun girl.

This came up on my YouTube feed this morning. To say this guy is talented is an understatement.

Anybody who's sick of the 2010s' bullshit music, here's a modern band dedicated to bringing back memories of the 1980s rock and metal hits:

”New levels of dissimulation being reached for - and gained – in the faux journalism/gov spokesmen/shadowy ‘intelligence’ nexus which blends together the worst elements of controlled medias, puppet governments, & mafia-led ‘security’ forces, as our ‘post-reality’ era jets further and further away from any remotely real ‘events,’ authentic ‘leaders,’ & factual reporting.”

John Williams' "The Imperial March," just because some asshat SJW tried to whine about the music from Star Wars being "WAAAYCIST"...
