Netflixs has a great documentary on the history of ZZ Top.
    Highly recommend it.

Very Best Of, Dave Mason. Seen these guys many many times, Dave was earlier, a roadie for my favorite band Traffic.

Thank you, sorry for the late reply. Been down in Reno VA hospital, had a another life altering issue pop up. life's good now.

Was in the third balcony row, middle. Was so wasted I checked my Bong, and my Buck knife with security. What a trip. My friend had a hemi Cuda, he had put Kreiger rims and Mickey Thompson tires. Had air shocks mounted the day before we went to San Fran.

The air lime to the rear shocks touched the exhaust, causing the shocks to loose their air. This was just west of Davis Ca. I had the bright Idea to remove the huge tires on the back, and put them up front, and the front tires on the rear. A huge engineering issue, with limited tools.

Anyway in San Fran we would turn left/right in route to winterland, have to stop in the intersection back up jockey the car around then go forward to make the corner.

Finally got a two scooter police escort. We were wasted, they knew it, just wanted up out of their beat. Escorted us right to winterland, where we parked, slept in the car, eat like bologna and white bread sandwiches, and drank bottled Coors, until the show.

The car was owned by my friends sister who's husband died in a high power line accident. She won millions. When we came out, the car was fixed. She paid a mechanic to respond, and fix the air shocks, new tires etc etc.

Glad to report the drive home was uneventful. The show, was the highlight of my life.

    "What You Are" - AudioSlave

If this was not easily the best CD of the 2000s, what was?

    RIP Chris Cornell ...
