Been listening to those guys since the 90's. Good stuff for sure, they use to play a lot with my buddy's from The Famine, formerly Embodyment.

If you guy's like your metal fast check them out...

Cool, thanks man! I was watching Magpul's "The Art Of The Tactical Carbine" and noticed some pretty cool background music. I hoped there was something in the credits but, nope. Oh well.

There's a couple of bands/songs listed here that I'll have to check out. I'm always looking to expand my R&G playlist. While there are a lot of great songs on my iPod, not many really get me in the shooting mood like the ones on my list.

Lately Jeff Beck.. old and new stuff. Emotion and Commotion is a nice departure. He's been ahead of the curve since the 60s, one of the best. I tend to spend more time playing than listening..

and more occupy space on my hard drive.

In 1983 I graduated High School a little early and celebrated my 17th B-day in a bar in Warren Pennsylvania. I ran lighting and sound for a Metal band whom I was friends with. Most of the bands in my playlist were also on our set lists.

While in the Military, I liked Tool, Metalica, STP, etc. After I got out, I listened to DMB saw them in concert for 10yrs straight. Now I pretty much just listen to Country (modern).

The song; How ya like me now by "The Heavy" is stuck in my head (because of those damn Kia commercials).

I'm at six years straight. My tastes are pretty eclectic, but bands that are better live than in a studio are really the only ones that qualify for my favorite list.

My playlist that's getting the most play right now is filled out with the likes of these.
    DMB
    O.A.R.
    Modest Mouse
    The Gourds
    Blues Traveler
    Violent Femmes
    George Thorogood
    The Traveling Wilburys
    Tom Waits
