Talking OK, OK, I'll do it...

You guys have once again forced me to send BCM some money...14.5 middy, PWS brake, and LaRue 12" rail on the way!

that's an awful lot of tactical gizmos on a markm upper...

very nice writeup, i was looking to add more rail space on my (2) 14.5" uppers and this definitely sold me on the 12".

now i'm thinking about selling my (2) Colt M4A1 barrels and going with the BCM middies. save some weight and money.

has paul mentioned any plans on making a BFH version of the 14.5" middy?
And I looked, and behold a pale horse and his name that sat on him was Death, and Hell followed with him.

Late 2010 is all he has mentioned. I'm holding out for one.

Don't know how I missed this thread.

I've been running a DD 14.5 midlength since April,
No Mark, it's not just the brake 'cuz I've got the Vltor comp on mine and it shoots very smooth. Obligatory pic.

My mind is the weapon, everything else is merely an accessory.

evil, wtf sort of grip is that on your rail?? Never seen it before. Does it hold a spare magazine or something? Looks like it might...

It's aFAB Defense one, and yes it holds a spare mag.

I like it b/c it gives me a lot of area for my palm, kinda like a magwell grip w/out the risk from a KB.

Cool! I can't wait to add an A5 stock to a lower and run that for a while.

Well, this thread turned out to be a timely read for me. I was in the market for a new flat top upper and was leaning toward the standard 14.5 carbine-length. After reading this, I just ordered a BCM 14.5 middy with a PWS FSC556. I will post pics as soon as I have it all assembled.
