DHart, nice looking blaster and all, but now that you've shot it you need to take more pics of it. A well used carbine looks SO much better IMHO than a clean (or in your case new) one in pristine condition, and has a much higher "Awesome Level."![]()

RetreatHell... ah yes, all in good time, my friend. But it will take a very long time before it achieves that beater "awesome level" you speak of, because I'm just too easy on my guns! I don't thrash 'em at all and don't often get the chance for lots of rugged shooting environments. I will be shooting this every other day or so in my in-home range, but just 30 to 60 rounds each session and that doesn't create much visual wear. I know, I don't get out enough.![]()

This is my first AR and after shooting it I cannot imagine a rifle that would shoot nicer. It's incredible how smooth everything operates with very little recoil. I went with the H3 buffer and no regrets so far. Shooting cheapest ammo I can get my hands on, Monarch and Tula so far.
