YEAH!! Just the MOUNT! With the can on POI shifted like 4 MOA down... which is to be expected.

Hmm, sounds like gasses having effect on POI. I'm assuming the POI shift wasn't straight down with just the mount since you specify POI was 4MOA down with the can? I'd be curious to see how different clocking of the mount would effect POI.

Not sure. It's a phantom mount that you thread on with no shims or washers.

Not a big deal. I just rezeroed the gun.

Took my new BCM BFH 14.5 Middy with BC 1.5 out today. Got the sights dialed in for 50yd zero, then dialed the H1 in and got it off the bench and ran some rounds through it. NICE!!! I am going to enjoy shooting this rifle. I was only shooting Brown Bear 62gr as that is what I run through my AR's 90% of the time. 5-shot groups were around 1 - 1.5" and of course the rifle ran like a champ, it's a BCM. I swapped the H buffer out for an H2 and again had no issues.

I've gone back to an H buffer. Let us know how the H2 runs for you.

Why did you go back to the H? Was the H2 not cycling as reliably as it was initially?

    Mark,

Have you tried an IONbonded BCG from BCM?

Reason I ask is I've found the FZ coated Spike's BCG I use is still letting me use a 7.3oz buffer w/ tubbs spring on my BCM 14.5" middy using PMC .223 55gr FMJ.

Exactly. And I don't know why. It still runs great. And it was NEVER meant to run the heavier buffers at all. So it's not a concern.... but it is strange.

I have not tried the ion bond.
