It will stay on extra bright for like 2 years.

I left mine on since 2007 or something totally stupid like that (whenever they first came out) at it still has the original battery.

There are those who still think they are holding the pass against a revolution that may be coming up the road. But they are gazing in the wrong direction. The revolution is behind them. It went by in the Night of Depression, singing songs to freedom.

Good to know...I think about the last 3 settings are "Extra Bright" as in "so bright I have never needed them". Not even in Iraq in direct sunlight. I think my daytime setting was 8 or 9. I leave them on 8 full-time now unless I need to turn them down in low light.

    I love the T1...

The new & Improved Model due out tomorrow... :)

I bought some different contact cases and they're better. If I have time, I will try and post the improved version tomorrow evening.

    Thanks for the kind words.

I tied my spare in the cut off finger of a latex glove and put in the underside of the LT mount.

I went ahead and made a new Thread for the "improvements" to avoid people having to scroll all the way down here to get the new stuff.

The new Thread is called "Improved" T-1 Battery Storage Case Idea?" and the link is:

    Thanks.
