Sorry but not everyone feels the need to buy a real aimpoint to put on every range toy, .22, or the gun they let their buddies shoot. The bottom line is for the cost it is worth it for something you are not using to defend your life with.
    Truth.

That's quite a stretch. Do you think Aimpoint would sit idly by if someone stole and then openly marketed their technology? We're not talking about the "knock-offs" on places like Ebay which clearly are marked 'Aimpoint' 'Eotech' 'Trijicon' etc... We're talking about a company which is marketing products which may resemble existing products, but are light years different. Expanding on Strek's question, if you use a Motorola flip phone is it then the intellectual theft of a flip phone by Nokia? What about tires? Steering wheels? Toasters?

Don't bash anyone for their principle, regardless if their view is more narrow than you'd like them to be.

If someone has no choice but to buy a foreign Leupy or UnderArmor, then they'll buy it if it fits their needs.

If it comes down to a good product versus a knockoff, they have every right to chose the original and not the knockoff. Don't try to expand their principles to everything else.

You are more than welcome to hold whatever opinions you want and I am probably inclined to agree with a portion of them.

But this contributes nothing to the thread. I ask you, as a gentleman, to reserve yourself in future moments akin to that one.

    Anyhow,

OP, I read your article and appreciate it. I've had a few locals that commented on my T1. They really want one right up the the price tag. These are guys just making things meet right now … even ammo is a 'luxury'. They are rec shooters exclusively and just want something to park on a inexpensive AR, AK, etc or the like. The Micro seems a good thing.

A PA will not only give them something to use and play with but probably that extra little bit that makes their current lot of problems a little easier to bare.

I just don't see why so many are ready to piss all over every hydrant they see.
