    Worn 1911's...let's see them!

    So in the 1911 Picture thread we see all the pretty 1911's...let's see the ugly ones here! I hope this thread can stay open since it is quite a chore to go thru the 1792 + posts in the other thread to find worn 1911's!

    It sure is beautiful! One of these days I need to pick up one of the Colt WW1 repro's before they are all gone.

    can't really see it that great but there are quite a few scratches on teh slide..and bluing is coming off in front of muzzle and around grip

    Pictures aren't great, but you get the idea. My 1991A1 Commander that has been refinished 4 times. I shoot and carry it a lot!

    Frankly I don't think it'll see much more wear though, as the G19 has largely supplanted it.
