I shoot at the Rainbow range here and there and Iron Sights in Oceanside when I can't get out to the desert.

Are you talking about Burro Canyon? I've gotten the private range many times and all we shoot are AR's...

They have different size private ranges some dont allow you to shoot AR's but if you request a large range to shoot all types of ammo you can shoot anything you want.
