    Beretta 1201 Riot

My Dad picked up an older, but new in box, Beretta 1201 Riot a while back. It has the standard stock on it. I saw a pic of one with stock/pistol grip combo on it and wondered if anyone had any good leads on a place for accessories for this model.

It shoots great and is quick to handle. From what I understand, did Benelli make this for Beretta? The operate the same from what I can tell, and shoot the same.

Thanks for the info in advance.

    I have a 1201 fp from the mid 90's....

I've just ordered a speed feed pistol grip stock IV-S for the super 90 to replace it....

    should be a good fit....

Sweet, How much was it? I'm looking at an M4 pistol grip stock now, I think it should fit okay...

Let me know or email me pics if you would be willing to do so when you get it installed.

    Thanks

That Speedfeed stock looks great! Were there any fitting issues?

No...it literally would have taken 10 minutes, if I hadn't been cleaning parts that didn't need cleaning.

Very nice fit...my only complaint is that the trigger group seems a little more forward than before, so that I cannot engage the safety with my strong side thumb without shifting my grip.

The Benelli M1 stock (p/n 60046P, $130 at Brownells but out of stock) is the one you want. The stock mounting bolt on the 1201 is longer than the M1, so it interferes with the sling slot on the stock. I just looped a sling around the wrist of the stock and called it good:

It's a nice shotgun. For spare parts, most internal parts from the Benelli M1 will fit. Aftermarket white light foreends generally won't, and the Tac-star M1 sidesaddle didn't fit on mine, either.

    Good luck!
