My wife has been out of work for over a year due to kidney problems. She's finally getting better but she's very weak. I'm putting together a lightweight build for her and overall weight is very much an issue (even to the point of using an abbreviated rail w/no room for BUIS).
We're going w/the Micro for the obvious weight difference but I'm leaving enough rail space for BUIS later if desired.

Aimpoint Micro but why no BUIS.

I ran Eotechs for a long time before seeing the light. I had some issues with zero shift and I had it turn off on me once and it would not turn back on until I took the batteries out for 2 minutes and re-installed them. I have owned 3 Eotechs. I have one Aimpoint T1 now and it has never failed me and the battery life is far superior. Its also a lot lighter and less bulky. If money is an issue get the Aimpoint H1 and some Magpul back up sights.
