Trijicon RMR - does anyone make an offset mount for use with an ACOG?

Larue makes a nice offset mount for the Aimpoint T1 for use with an ACOG. Does anyone make a good offset mount for the RMR? I don't want to put the RMR on top of my scope. I would rather like to use it offset to the side with my TA11F. It seems smaller and lighter than the T1.

LaRue makes a throw-arm mount that allows the RMR to be mounted to a rail on a TA648 variant, so it can be removed. The combo makes up the USMC's Machinegun Day Optic (MDO). Use of that mount or similar would allow for use of the RMR on any offset mount.

I coulda sworn I'd put up the model # somewhere for another member to see if it's commercially available or not; can't find it via search, so I'll ask our optics custodian for the # again and put it up.

    It's a possible option.

ETA: It's the LT726. Didn't see it anywhere on their website, so it rates a call to LaRue to see if they're selling them commercially.

I use a Daniel Defense 1:00 mount in front of my TA33 with a Burris Fastfire II. Depends on how much rail space the RMR needs, though.

Can't seem to find any info on it. Anyone have a link on an offset RMR mount?

    Call them.

I think Mr. LaRue has people of his that don't answer customer questions broken on the wheel after 20 lashes with a knout.

    Jesus...

For instructional purposes, which part of "Call them." was the most confusing? The "call" part, or the "them" part?

    Call. LaRue. Tactical.

    Ask. Questions. About. Mounts.

Trijicon makes the RMR, so line-of-sight reasoning would indicate that they might know about receiver-mounted offset options for a product that they manufacture, particularly when the internet does not.

    CGoodwin mentioned Daniel Defense....

All of the above-mentioned companies have a software application known as "people" installed. You can interface with these"people" using a device known as a telephone; they look like this:

It only hurts the first time you use it. After that, it feels kinda good.

Oh I understood the part about calling them. I was just completely baffled by the "I think Mr. LaRue has people of his that don't answer customer questions broken on the wheel after 20 lashes with a knout. part. Totally threw me off so I figured I'd poke a little fun. But just so you know, after having to deal with so many annoying people over the phone while at work, it usually leaves my bum feeling a bit raw.

Same-same, no worries. LaRue is pretty rabid about supporting their customer base, so while I can neither truly confirm or deny what methods they use to inspire that, Medieval/Roman torture techniques could be plausible. Or, they love what they do. 50/50.

I really think that starting with Trijicon is the best first step. Ping the guys that run out of Fredericksburg, specifically. They're the best source for use of their products on ARs and similar platforms.

I'm a schmuck (not really news, just sayin' ), having completely forgotten about the thread cited below.

LOTS of potential options available; the ADM throw-arm base for the RMR looks really nice.
