I was actually referring to the shooting, I could care less about Costco, I don't shop there, and because of this, I won't start.

IG said he had forwarded the Costco policy to the NRA-ILA and they would look into it.

•eguns.com has not been actively promoted in a long time though I still do Dillon special

Oh, I thought he forwarded the entire situation to them. Oh well.

By all means someone should contact them as well. I have emailed Mrs. Tarkanian and the Neveda AG. My email to the NRA-ILA had to do more with their CCW policy. As far as I know- if there is no sign posted at all points of entry/ exit their policy doesn't mean crap.

Who wants to bet the data ends up being "corrupted" or lost?

There were NO signs at the time of Erik Scott's death. I do not know if they put them up since then.

As I'm sure you're well aware, state laws vary WIDELY on this. Most states take the approach that if you see any signage or, if not, ARE ASKED TO LEAVE by an official represenative of the establishment, you must comply immediately (Mr. Scott was asked to leave by a manager and did not immediately do so, according to statements.)

Some states have specific stipulations over what constitutes valid signage (Texas comes to mind) and I believe there are one or more states in the country that do stipulate signage must be posted at EVERY entrance for the signage to be valid, though I don't know which or if Nevada is such a state.

The bottom line is, if the truth is being told regarding Mr. Scott's actions and statements prior to police deployment, Mr. Scott was almost certainly in violation of CCW law. While, of course, this doesn't merit his death, it was an aggravating factor.

All that said, the purpose of IG doing what he's doing is if Costco policy had been more accepting of concealed carriers, police would've never been called, and Mr. Scott would likely still be among us.

This the same department that ruled shooting a handcuffed 17 year old in the back was justified.

Edit: Before I get dog piled about a murder suspect being killed, it's not that I don't have sympathy for the family, it was a horrible crime. But it's up to a jury to decide guilt. And at the time of the shooting the suspect didn't pose a danger to anyone, he was handcuffed. No matter what evidence you have against a person, they're still innocent until proven other wise buy either a judge (If the defendant chooses to wave his/her right to a trial by jury) or a jury of their peers.

I understand too is an adverb and to is a preposition, I still prefer using to in place of too.

The way I see it I'll save maybe 5-10 minutes over my lifetime not typing that extra o at the end of to. Even typing up this explanation saves me more time than typing that extra o
