Absolutely not.
If you deal with the public you need to know or be able to learn how to read people.
You need to determine if you are dealing with a crackpot or someone on the up and up, whether someone is lying or is trying to manipulate the facts.
Experience teaches you what is important vs BS.
ditto this and in the private sector and recovering your data was needed for a business it would be done in hours not days !!!
done meaning the process of starting to pull the data
I know some photographers who did not backup work and had issues sent in their drives to recovery services and got it back in a few days ?
and the technical problems they are having are going to be minimal if their even is any ? its not like the cameras went through a fire or other major catastrophe
add to it shows like SVU, where sex is injected into the morbidity, and it's doubletriple disgusting. im sure there's some guys around here who watch that shit, so i'll try not to be too offensive... but i'm so offended by those shows existence that i have a real hard time not thinking less of a person who actually watches them.
Well I have gone off on such rants myself (and been chided) over lesser-terrible programs, so don't feel too bad.
But remember, these folks are somehow entertained by things that would also be their worst nightmare. So where would one look for relevance in their opinions?

If the gun goes dry I use my knife. If the knife breaks off I use my teeth. I have only one rule - Start one job and see it through - The universe will have to offer someone else the leftovers. Multi tasking doesn't work in business or in gunfighting.

Which is why I haven't had cable TV for 3 years and counting.
