Sounds like a good excuse for more toys to me.

    Not so much in trouble

but in the past month I've picked up:

    - Colt 6940 (I'll leave this as stock, really nice shooting rifle, extremely accurate out of the box with factory sights)

    - Eotech XPS-2 with LT-110 QD mount package from Larue Tactical (smooth ordering process, fast shipping)

    - Streamlight TRL-1s (fast, free shipping from Optics Planet)

    - Vickers Blue Force AA sling (from Bravo Co.)

    - another 1000 rounds of ammo

    - BCM 16" mid-length upper w/12" rail, BCM charging handle and complete BCG and Magpul back-ups (great service on this purchase, very quick turnaround) this will be the gun with the all the accessories

    - this weekend, be ordering a BCM lower

    - Magpul CTR for the BCM lower (also from Larue)

Once I get the lower, I'm hoping it will tide me over...for a little while anyway. Then just keep ordering ammo and shooting...then go to a class or two.

The past week, I've got (3) 12.5 uppers, (2) T1's and Larue mounts,(1) Aimpoint M4s, (1) X300. Still need to get a BCM bcg, (2) mod 4's, and (2) Battle Comps, Gear sector mounts, Elzetta light, Kac 200 micro, Larue buis, and (2) Troy fronts.

    Yikes.

Now I need to start working on another sbr lower.

My Geiselle SSA trigger just came in. Come lunchtime I'm going to run home real quick and install it. Looks pretty straight forward. I'll be giving it a good work out this weekend. I plan on putting at least a couple of hundred rounds down range.

I don't even want to begin telling you what this site has done to me. Empty bank account and angry girlfriend are just some of the consequences though

Why cound't I pick up cheap hobbies? My cousin sits no his ass and does NOTHING! He is married and just bought a house, I have a GF and a condo lol. But then again, his wife is a b*tch and he is miserable, and my GF loves to go to the range with me. So Im okay with it.

Flying, racing, photographing and shooting makes me happy, so I am okay with spending lots of money on it. At least I don't do Coke...
Blow would be cheaper than outfitting a new rifle...at least you have something to show for it with the rifle though, instead of a headache and a nosebleed

I hit the jackpot today. Not only was I able to install the Geiselle SSA trigger I got but my UBR stock came in early afternoon and I was able to install that also. Now the only thing i am waiting on is the Eotech 553 to come in so I can finish off this weapon. I really love the UBR stock. It's a million time better than the standard M$ collapsable stock that was on the weapon.

I love my UBR stock... and this place (and my lurking here for a while) is responsible for me getting a 1-4x accupoint, adm mount, cat-tail... and am considering a new BCM upper to move the eotech over to for HD, and making the current upper a 3-gun upper, which will involve more spending... Hell, new uppers are cheaper than new optics now, and that has me buying more.

Hell, strip clubs may be cheaper some weeks.

LOL, this site can certainly lead down the road to trouble. While I don’t have deep pockets, I am learning to buy once and cry once.

The issue for me has always been that I buy something that I think is neat then I see something that’s just a bit neater. So I end up selling the 1st item only to end up being not really happy with the 2nd item. With the wealth of real world knowledge here it has been easier to make my purchasing decisions based on facts with the end result of me being happier with the gear that I have bought.

That's the thing that drew me here, was the wealth of knowledge from people that are using the stuff in the right ways (and found out what happens if you use it the wrong way), rather than just sitting in a chair and postulating.

I feel I'll spend more initially, but not re-buy as my skills, abilities and what I ask of the tools grows, again, thanks to knowledge gained here..

Now soon I need to visit the regional competition forums and find some action in my area to try and learn exactly how bad I am.
