    For those that know, a USGI mag is typically loaded with 28 rounds to avoid feed problems, while your PMAG can be topped-off @ 30 rounds no sweat...

    I wouldn't "tank" your GI mags just yet. If the feed lips are GTG, add the Magpul followers and enhanced springs from Specialized Armament Warehouse and they're like-new again...

    I am aware of numerous instances where 30 rd. loaded PMAGs failed to seat on a closed bolt.
