    personally I like the VLTOR design. It's small, easy and ultra light.

    Cutting the FSB is a workable solution , but IMO it's a little mickey moused. I take a lot of care making my rifles as nice as can be. If you choose to customize yours with a new rail, you'll forever see that cut off FSB and regret it. OK maybe you wont, but I know I would!

    Last one I bought was a Rainier stainless. I bought the barrel from them too so they pinned it on for me.

    Your FSB is going to be a paper weight anyway. Find a pic of a cut down and go to it. Or send it to GotM4 and have him do it for a nominal fee!
