    ACOG

So i have an ACOG TA01NSN sitting around. The plan is to put in on my 20" A4 clone. I have heard that the NSN model is designed for the M4. My question is will it work?

    The BDC

The bullet drop compensator or the grid inside the unit that marks the hold over points is set for the M4 which does not use the length of barrel you are using, you could use it but the hash marks will be not as helpful, a little creative hold over should do it- CB

I have tried it you are defeting the whole point of the BDC but if its what you got its what you got. You will have to re shoot all the stada lines to see what ranges they are going to represent.

You are absolutely right. I will hold on to the old one to help cover your tracks.

Get a TA31F, order the RCO flashkill and lens covers and with the money you save by doing this order a mount from Larue. So you dont have the side tick-marks for calling in airstrikes. We use those alot shooting paper.

But as a mall/internet ninja you never know when you will have to call in that world saving airstrike! just kidding, good advice, I never thought of that

Why own a horse when you have a car? Why have a gun when there are cops? Why is "because I want to and can afford it" not good enough? So help me god, if I want to sneak up on my paper, that's a good enough reason. The second amendment is not about paper or hunting. We do still have selective service for the same reason that a killflash is not so over the top. Shit happens. That same mentality is what brought us NFA and the AWB, and our current tax system.

Your horses and cars analogy is not the same as suggesting someone get a different optic to better fit their intended use/application.

I think you're going a little overboard here, and the OP seems to have appreciated the suggestion anyway.
