    Jim,

First of all let me thank you for your time on the line. I did not realize Marines where able to retain so much information and be able to pass it on in a fluid and understandable manner like you did on the 18th.

The evening instruction block was great. I was not able to experience the anomaly that JT did. I used the same rig that had the Vis/IR laser on it, Aimpoint and the helmet mounted PVS14s. I took four tuns on the line, two with the vis laser and two with the IR and got hits on steel every time. Both eyes open was a must and all worked well.

I wish we could have had more time to tweak the eo553 I was running to see if it would function as advertised with the NVGs. Maybe next time.

A pleasure meeting you and hope to train with you again in the future.

    Regards,

    Alex Teixeira

It was an anomaly, is all. I have a pathological need to run them down when they occur (hence the lab work), and since I originally typed the word "not" where it clearly didn't belong, it rated correction.

    Jim,

I hear you, my AAR needed an edit as well. I wish I had more time to learn the equipment. Your instruction was top notch. I want to learn more about night vision and how best to deploy it. Let me know if you and Tom ever put a night fighting class together.

    Thanks,

    JT

+1 here. If a night/low light-focused course comes together, you can automatically sign me up!
