    BCM 11.5" Middy

Has anyone use one of these yet? When I saw it, I thought I misread it but here it is:

    Hmm....

Very interesting. The gas block looks like the carbine spot to me based on the pics. I don't know if you could even get a middy gas port and gas block onto an 11.5?

I would verify with Paul that the whole thing isn't a typo before making a move.

On the other hand if anyone could make it work well, it's BCM.

I'm going to need more info before I jump on this. I have seen so many threads saying that a 12.5 middie wouldn't work, make me think it might be a typo. If it isn't that changes things for my build...LOL

it's clearly a standard 11.5 barrel with a middy rail. nothing new.

The MK18 RIS II rail system is built around a carbine barrel, this is just using an 11.5" barrel instead of the 10.3/ 10.5".

    Nice setup.
    Stick

I'd have more faith in a thread that said the 12.50 "DIDN'T" work instead of some rubber necker proclaiming that it "wouldn't" work.... i.e.... someone actually TRY it.

"They" used to say the 14.5 middy wouldn't work.

If the pic is accurate, it is definitely a carbine-length system. It must be a typo.

I guess I should have written it better. The threads I have read on here said that it did not work properly. It wasn't running as intended. I believe it has been tried.
