I was wanting to replace my hammer and trigger pins on my colt AR-15 A-3 Tactical carbine with KNS Gen 2 Mod Non Rotating Pin set. My question is what size pins to get 154, 155 or 170. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

I disagree. They keep the pins from rotating, which in theory means the hammer and trigger are rotating on the pin, like they are supposed to. Here in CA where we cant even really buy a complete AR15, ill take every piece of insurance I can get that my lowers are not going to be egg shaped.
You can disagree. But the fact is I have never in my 24 years of dealing with AR's seen a lower get "worn out" from pins rotating. I have seen M16 lowers that have been in combat in Vietnam and then issued to basic trainees and they still worked as designed.
What will damage a lower is incorrectly assembling and disassembling them or using the incorrect tools.
I would love to see some evidence of holes being "egged out" from normal use.

Hell maybe its one of those, I have heard of but never seen instances. However when I got my first lower put together, I had pins walk a little. Ill admit it was because I screwed up the hammer spring and it was upside down, BUT while getting that all figured out I did notice that my hammer pin did spin inside the lower as the hammer went forward and backward. I can totally see that opening up that hole whether you want to say that it COULD happen or not. And the $30.00 paid for those springs will insure this lower will be good to for a LONG time.
I honestly can't imaging a factory Colt lower egging out.
Seriously.
I know you're behind enemy lines and don't want to loose your lower, but I've seen some really old M16's that just kept chugging along.
I'd listen to IG's advice......

If it makes you sleep better go for it. I just hate to see people putting unnecessary crap like that on their weapon thinking that it actually will do something. I have SEEN ALOT OF AR's in my lifetime and have yet to see one damaged because of what you describe. As a matter of fact your weapon is more susceptible from being damaged by bad ammo or improper maintenance/ assembly/disassembly than from rotating pins.
