I hate to sound negative but who really cares about the SIG. IMO it is just another over priced carbine on the market. Myself, I think a Colt, DD, BCM, or LMT is a much better value for the money.

Had a good review in a rifleman awhile back and heard they was suppose to be around 1k. I guess the price changed, I would grab one for 1k but not more.
556 = much better rifle in every way than this and the previous SIG-AR efforts.
The problem is SIG already has something more than decent that has been around for 30 years. SIG USA is just too inept to build it right, and is betting the American consumer is too damn stupid to know the difference
If SIG stopped bullshitting with the useless pistol variations, pimptastic finish jobs, and crappy carbines, they could actually build one decent carbine

Kein Mitleid Für Die Mehrheit
What Happened to the American dream? It came true. You're looking at it.
SIG (USA) has been irrelevant in the rifle market since they got into it. They make a handgun for every minute if the day and it appears they are trying to do the same with their rifles.
Jack of all trades and master of none...
I'm not a 556 expert, but I am interested in them, what all have you done?I've found it worth the effort to un-CF the 556 Classic....
It's a damn shame what has happened to SIG since I bought my P228 7 years ago.
I sold the SIG I had(P-220) at a gunshow, I never shot it that much to begin with, And since I started using M&P's(FS9 Mid size.45) it just sat in the drawer, It was a good handgun, I believe it was made prior to 2004, I dont miss it...
There's a race of men who don't fit in, A race that can't stay still, So, they break the hearts of kith and kin, and roam the world at will..
